  1. Drink Water:

It is difficult to list out the number of benefits that comes with drinking water. One of them is clear beautiful skin. Staying hydrated throughout the day helps in flushing out the toxins from your body. It also keeps your skin supple, leaving you feel refreshed and energized all day long. You can also supplement your water intake by infusing fruits to it or having soothing herbal teas.

  1. Follow The Right Diet:

You are what you eat – we all have heard this a million times. And that is because it is true. Your diet should consist of a healthy balance of green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, and food rich in protein. Food that is processed or is high in sugar will have an adverse effect on your skin. Also by incorporating Vitamin C into the diet helps in healing the pimples faster.

  1. Exercise:

Regular exercise is a large part of having and maintaining beautiful skin.

Cardio helps in boosting blood circulation, leading to a healthy glowing skin. One can also try running or brisk walking. These exercises also help in cleansing your body of toxins through sweating. If pressed for time, try jogging or a brisk walk for 20 minutes during the day.

  1. Take off the makeup:

A habit to live by is to take away the makeup before sleeping. Leaving the makeup on at night clogs pores, causing blackheads and acne. Use a cotton pad, put some makeup remover onto it and gently massage the makeup away. Then wash your face with warm water and pat it dry gently. If you don’t have a makeup remover, you can also use olive or coconut oil.

  1. Protect Yourself from the Sun:

Whenever you step out into the sun, your sensitive skin retorts to the UV rays. Long exposure to the elements without proper fortification can lead to tough, leathery skin. Using sunscreen, you can keep your skin soft and supple for years. For everyday use, choose a SPF of 15 or more. However, if you are planning to visit a beach or spend time in the sun, make sure you cover your skin uniformly with SPF 30 or more.

  1. Sleep:

Don’t ever compromise on your sleep! You should have at least 8 hours of sleep every day. Your skin reflects your health; insufficient sleep can show up in the form of patchy complexion, saggy skin and dark circles under the eyes. A good night’s sleep is all that is required to eliminate these negatives.

  1. Have a ritual:

This one is most important tips for beautiful skin. Every time you wash your face, make sure that you use a toner to remove any extra oil or dirt from your skin.

In addition to these, keep your hands and hair off your face and keep your skin moisturized. These tips will not only keep your skin clean but also will nourish it for years and years.
