When I ask someone about their New Year Resolutions, the answer of most of the people is to accomplish the fitness goals. These are prevalent because they are tangible and always tailored and reconfigured to new aspirations and challenges in the gym and beyond.

  • Create Small, Realistic Goals

A friend with a similar goal of weight loss or getting into shape serves as a great motivation. By exercising with your friend, you can more likely keep up with the routine.

  • Keep a Food Journal

This is one of the most important tips to stay focused on your fitness goals. By maintaining a food journal, you can realize that how much you ate throughout the day. Hence, the journal will give you an estimation of each and every thing you put in your mouth.

  • Track Your Progress

It is vital to keep a record of your success. If you planned to lose substantial weight in a week and you lose a lesser than that, then don’t get depressed. Appreciate that you had lose some of your weight.

I recommend that people step on the scale once in a week. Select a time, for example morning, and stick that weekly tracking system. Remember that your weight will not fluctuate during the day and week. It is vital not to obsess regarding the number on the scale.   • Reward Yourself
